Certified Veterinary Technician


Crystal - CVT

Crystal is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians. Raised in Mechanicsburg, PA, she graduated from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1989. Shortly after graduating she moved to the State College area and began her employment at the Animal Medical Hospital. Crystal enjoys long walks with her dog and spending time with friends and family.


Trish - CVT

Trish joined the Animal Medical Hospital team in 2004. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Bioscience in 2001. Trish then went on to attend the Johnson College where she enrolled in their Veterinary Technician Program, graduating in 2003. Trish currently resides in Millheim with her husband James, son Zachary, daughter Emily, and a variety of pets.


Cindy - CVT

Cindy is originally from Mifflin County. She attended Wilson College in Chambersburg where she graduated as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1995. Prior to joining the Animal Medical Hospital Team in 2005, Cindy worked at another local Veterinary Hospital. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also has a well established pet sitting business. Cindy currently resides in Millheim with her fiancé, Bob and their several cats.


Annie Fulcomer

Annie joined the staff of Animal Medical Hospital in June of 2018 as a Veterinary Assistant with 20 years of veterinary medicine, five of which was in emergency veterinary medicine. Her favorite part of her job is nursing critical patients. In her spare time she loves and cares for her Boer goats and quarter horses on the family homestead in Warriors Mark with her boyfriend. She also has 2 dogs – Toby and Gem and 2 cats – Flea Dirty Ricky and Luna.


Leanna Doherty

Leanna is originally from State College, PA. She got her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Penn State University and her Master’s Degree in Anthrozoology, the study of human-animal bond from Canisius College. She’s the crazy bunny lady of the clinic – she helped run a rabbit rescue in the D.C. area before joining the team at Animal Medical Hospital in March 2018 as a Customer Service Specialist. She also volunteers for Centre Wildlife Care. In her free time, she loves to enjoy the sun and her loved ones, including four rabbits – Basil, Genie, Carter, and her newest addition Angelo.


Taylor Bush

Taylor joined the team of Animal Medical Hospital in July of 2017 as a Customer Service Specialist. Several months into the position, she moved onto become a Veterinary Assistant. She is originally from the DuBois, PA area. She attended Penn State University for Animal Science. She currently resides in Huntingdon with her 3 Border Collies – Bo, Rory, and Scout.


Hanna Evanchak

Hanna grew up in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania before moving to State College to complete a Bachelors Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. She enjoyed working at various wildlife rehabilitation centers throughout her college career before graduating and joining the AMH team in July of 2018 as a Customer Service Specialist. She is currently a volunteer in a fisheries research lab with Penn State, and works with the US Youth Fly Fishing Team as Director of Outreach and Communication. In her free time, she enjoys running and hiking with her rescue dog Bear.


Rebecca Horner

Becky started with Animal Medical in March 2018. She grew up in Penns Valley and still lives in Woodward today. She got her passion for working with animals when she was little and helped on a family friend’s farm. After getting her certification for being a Veterinary Assistant through CPIST online course, she started working at a local animal hospital and has been in the field ever since. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking with her “old man”, the Shih Tzu and hiking and having lazy pool day with “the girls”, her 2 German Wirehaired Pointers.


Rebecca McNair

Rebecca joined the all star team of Animal Medical Hospital in January of 2017 as a Customer Service Specialist. Her 17 years of previous experience along with her dedication and passion for the veterinary field, Rebecca was promoted within to Hospital Manager June 2018. In her spare time, Rebecca loves to travel, go dancing with her husband, and spend quality time with friends and family. Rebecca’s furry children include Oscar, a Long Haired Dachshund, and Shelby, a Border Collie mix.
