Crystal - CVT
Crystal is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians.
Raised in Mechanicsburg, PA, she graduated from Harcum
College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1989. Shortly after graduating
she moved to the State College area and began her
employment at the Animal Medical Hospital. Crystal enjoys
long walks with her dog, Missy and spending time with
friends and family. She and her husband, Bill have a dog, Missy,and a cat, Hammy.
Trish - CVT
Trish joined the Animal Medical Hospital team in 2004. She graduated
from Penn State University with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Bioscience
in 2001. Trish then went on to attend the Johnson College where she
enrolled in their Veterinary Technician Program, graduating in 2003.
Trish currently resides in Millheim with her husband James, son Zachary,
daughter Emily, and a variety of pets.
Cindy - CVT
Cindy is originally from Mifflin County. She attended Wilson College in
Chambersburg where she graduated as a Certified Veterinary Technician
in 1995. Prior to joining the Animal Medical Hospital Team in 2005,
Cindy worked at another local Veterinary Hospital. In her spare time
she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also has a
well established pet sitting business. Cindy currently resides in
Millheim with her fiancé, Bob and their several cats.
Jessie - CVT
Jessie is originally from Port Matilda. She graduated from Juniata
College with a dual major in Geology and Anthropology. She then went on
to do an internship at the World Hunger Relief Inc. in Waco, Texas.
There she worked with livestock and discovered her interest in
Veterinary Science. Jessie went on to attend McLennan Community College
Veterinary Technology Program where she graduated in August of 2011.
She joined the AMH team shortly after graduation. Jessie currently
resides in Port Matilda with her Iguana Ursula.
Damian - Technician Assistant
Damian is orginally from Waterbury, Connecticut. He graduated from the University of New England with a Bachelors degree in Marine Biology in 2005. Prior to joining the Animal Medical Hospital team as a Technician Assistant in 2008, he was working with a Mobile Vet near Bristol, and also worked for an animal shelter for 2 years. He currently has a cat, Handy.
Suzie - Technician Assistant
Suzie is originally from Auburn, Washington. She attended the
Washington State University and obtained her degree in Animal Science in
2007. She then came to Penn State where she earned her Masters degree
in Reproductive Biology in Animal Science in 2009. She came to us in
2011 after working at Penn State's Department of Dairy and Animal
Science. She currently resides in Bellefonte with her fiancé Daryl and
their dog Maximus.
Christina - Client Service Specialists
Christina is originally from the State College area. She came to Animal
Medical Hospital in 1999 and joined the front staff. Shortly after,
she decided to attend Empire Beauty School where she graduated with her
license in Cosmetology. Christina enjoys spending time with her
daughter, Katherine, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and spending
time with friends. She currently resides in Port Matilda with her
boyfriend Ryan, daughter Katherine, their two dogs, and their two cats.
Nancy - Client Service Specialists
Nancy is one of our long term receptionists. She started here in August of 1991 and was full-time until December of 2001. Nancy had retired from AMH then and returned in 2006 while Christina was on maternity leave and has stayed on working one day a week ever since. She and her husband currently have three cats, Hush, Willie, and Yogi.
Mandy - Client Service Specialists
Mandy is originally from the Bellefonte area. She came to Animal
Medical Hospital in 2010 after having worked in the Veterinary Field
since 2002 as a technician and receptionist at another local Animal
Hospital. She currently resides in Bellefonte with her husband Ryan,
her son Cory, their 3 dogs, Buddy, Damien, and Tucker, and their 2 cats
Boots and BB.
Niki - Client Service Specialists
Niki is originally from Newport, Pa. She came to Animal Medical
Hospital in 2011 to join the front staff. She is currently working
towards her Biology degree. She dreams of one day living in Colorado
with her husband and family on a large ranch with many great danes, a
pygmy goat named Humphrey, and a bucking bull that she hopes to take to
the Rodeos. She currently resides in Milroy with her husband Chris and
their 6 dogs.
Alexis - Part time Client Service Specialists
Alexis is originally from the Philadelphia area. She attended Edinboro
University where she graduated in 2001 with a degree in Specialized
Studies. She came to Animal Medical Hospital in 2009. She currently
resides in State College with her two dogs, Eli and Verdell.
Kira - Part time Client Service Specialists
Kira joined the Animal Medical Hospital team in 2011. She is currently
working towards a degree in Veterinary and Bio-medical Studies at Penn
State University. She currently resides in State College with her 2
dogs.
Casey - Business Manager
Casey is originally from the Centre Hall area. She came to Animal
Medical Hospital in 1998 after having done an internship through the
Centre County Vocational Technical School at Animal Medical Hospital.
She originally worked as a Receptionist at AMH for 10 years. Casey was
mentored by the previous manager and upon her departure took on the role
of Business Manager. She currently resides in Julian with her husband,
John, son Cameron, daughter Carley, and their five cats, Sable, Sassy,
Spooky, Samson, and Simon.
