Animal Medical Hospital in State College, PA is looking for a PA licensed veterinarian committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication. Candidate must be a team player and be able to manage time and tasks appropriately.

We are located in State College, PA surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Central Pennsylvania, just minutes from Penn State University.

Our new full service facility is open Monday - Saturday with no evenings or on call. We are in a newly renovated building with state of the art medical equipment and dedicated work spaces (surgery suite, dental suite, 6 exam rooms, large 3-table treatment area, lab, pharmacy, separate cat / dog waiting rooms, separate cat / dog kennels, isolation, and radiology suite).

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties. This position does require someone who can work flexible hours.



Full-Time Veterinary Technician/Assistant Needed

Looking for an ALL STAR TEAM PLAYER with flexibility (evening and Saturday hours required) needed for a busy small animal practice. Would like mature, responsible, professional individual who enjoys working in a TEAM atmosphere and also enjoys working with clients and animals. CVTs preferred or assistant with 2 years minimal experience. Salary based on experience. Benefits include: health insurance, 401K, paid time off, pet benefit program. 30 to 40 hours per week.
